Ok, so this really isn't going to be an ode, but it is almost as exciting as if i were able to write an ode.
yesterday i had an interview with an assisted living/nursing home type of a place that was looking for a staffing coordinator to run all of their stuff. a few hours after the interview they called me to say i got the job. i am super excited to leave Catering, finally.
it should prove interesting though, because it will mean the management of around 200 employees, and sometimes more. this isn't really too different from catering though, but they (there were three that interviewed me) did seem like they were a little bit stressed in in a hurry to get someone who knows how to do things in there (the other person has been there less than 90 days and is about to get canned). so, i think there will be a little bit of damage control and reorganization that needs to happen, which may be kind of fun because i guess i will have a lot of control over that stuff too.
so, it should be fun and interesting and i am excited to work in an organization who's goal it is to maximize people's enjoyment of life at a time that is hard to do so. also, i just need to clear up the work-clutter, because now i technically have three jobs right now (although Catering should be done for quite quickly).
