small photo dump

I once read an article that said social networks actually makes us sadder and more envious of our friends because all we see are their happy times, great trips, and mile stones we haven't hit yet.  Think about it - what do you post online?  Just highlights.  When do you look at others' highlights?  When you are sad, lonely, depressed bored or procrastinating.  All great times to contrast the 'happy' you see.  Anyways, one below is a partial effort at full disclosure.  :)

engagement surprise

This past weekend we went back and took some pictures of us and Franklin Maverick Felix Fantastico at the same place that I proposed to Sara in Colorado Springs.  More to come, but thought I would share this one... kind of fun.  Same spot and same pose as that day back in 2005.

19.5-ish

Today we took a nice little stroll around White Rock lake in like upper 60 degree weather and thought we should take another picture of 'Franklin'.  It is funny going down to Waco each week because I can literally see the baby get bigger each time I get back.

Things are still going well.  About the only thing Sara craves is hamburgers, which is awesome.

Dr. Franzen

So today was Sara's first day of actually Dr'ing. We had to take the obligatory first day pic, and just to show off the cool white coat she has. She is going to do awesome. Even more awesome is the fact that she has to work 17 days straight before she gets any days off, and even then it is only a weekend. On the bright side, she gets the whole weekend... both days right in a row (which is wonderful and enough of a treat that they call it a 'golden weekend')!

They embroidered her name on the coat all nice like for her even. That is one hot Dr!
