First, the weekend before Thanksgiving we went down to Buckeye, AZ, to meet our new niece, Lucy, to whom we are also the godparents. It was really great to see her (she is so cute! and fat!, which helps the cuteness), and all the rest of the family. We have been waiting a while to see her. It was also great because the weather was shorts weather!

Then when we got back Sara had some interviews up in Chicago and I went up there with her for a few days over the weekend. It was really great because we were able to stay with Landon and Hannah. We really miss hanging out with them and so it was great to see them even if Sara had a lot going on and Landon had the GRE like a day or so after we left.
Next, and this is really exciting for me, we put up plastic over our windows this past weekend. We have really drafty windows here and I hated the idea that there were dollar bills flowing outside. It turned out really well though! Only one window has a little bit of slack in the plastic, but all of the other pretty much just look like another pane of glass. Hopefully now we can stay a little warmer and avoid sara's problem below... she was so cold when she was sorting some files that she was wearing her hood and had her gloves on, haha.
